I woke up in a bit of a funk because it’s raining again and as much as I love rain, I’m kind of over the gray weather. I decided to use some fresh herbs from a coworker’s garden to make this springy soup and it cheered me up (recipe in comments)

Minced garlic, chopped yellow onion, carrot and celery, cooked canary beans (from my farm box; they lost their yellow when I cooked them), fresh dino kale and frozen peas, vegetable broth. Lastly I added the fresh herbs (sage, oregano and thyme) and a little squeeze of lemon juice. Loosely adapted from NYTimes “Spring Minestrone with Kale and Pasta”
