they were stingy on the fish and the chips there, what’d they charge for that?

  2. Only in London, 14 quid for fish and chips having a laugh with that portion to price ratio.

Personally, I thought their fish(!) was not bad, but you can get better in London and there are more interesting things to eat at borough market.

The equivilent of nearly 18 bucks USD for what looks like the fry bits leftover in the basket?

I knew things were getting bad over there buy god damn.

I was just there a couple days ago. Was this from the Fish! stand that has a brick n mortar restaurant next door to their stand? They only had halibut when we went by on Wednesday. I got some bangers and mash at Maria’s cafe (I think that’s the name?) and some nice tinned fish at the tinned fish stand. My wife had an Emmanthaler pretzel. Some of the stuff is reasonably priced, other stuff is overpriced – like the place that sells a small donut for 4 pounds each

Fish looks OK, chips look awful and the quantity is pathetic. And no mushy peas. I give it a C-.

Looks like the tartar sauce has been left out for a few days.

You aren’t too far from Masters Superfish. They were my favorite chippy during my time in London.
