Feel free to mark out of ten, but I’m posting this to illustrate a technical term suggested by another poster, u/Cold_Introduction_48

I refer to gloopy bean sauce as opposed to runny bean juice, as exemplified by “Cafeteria Beans”.

I went to a Cafeteria/ Canteen in hospital to get an authentic example.

Just admire how those beans cling to the plate.

    If you want a gloopy sauce just warm them in a pan without a lid on a stove. It’s microwaves that cook runny beans. The reason they’re thicker in cafes is that they’re held warm.
