  1. Goodness. That’s awful!! I bet you were so relieved finding so damages to your structures. Yet, it’s sad to see some of your crops were damaged. I’ll be praying for your safety for upcoming storm💕🙏

  2. My 9 month old puppy had a very hard time with the thunder last night… He tried to sleep on my head! I'm hoping the storms tonight are milder

  3. I think some valerian tea might help your poor nerves❤….I am so glad nothing was wrecked for you guys…I think you and others are going to be fighting the weather most of the summer one way or another. Reinforce everything you can …heat is next…keep ahold of the shade cloth❤❤❤

  4. So glad you and your family are all okay. That was a LOT of water. Is there any way you can install a cistern to capture some of that water to use during dry times? Praise God your high tunnels stayed safe too! Enjoy your Sunday!

  5. That lightning was wicked! We just had some good rain and a little high wind. Lots of lightning all around us up here in Bedford. I'm thankful your home and high tunnels and yourselves are safe.

  6. I can’t remember if you’re in Johnson county or nearby but I was praying for you when those storms hit the area

  7. During monsoon season we have microbursts which will uproot large trees and turn over small planes! Sounds similar

  8. I live in East Tx at Lake Fork. It didn't stop here until almost 4. I have a Akita/German Shepard dog that was very anxious with the storms last night. I live in a mobile home, so I trust God to care for us in storms. No storms shelters close to my home, so we ride them out. Watching for the next one. It's that time of year. Stay safe & God bless.

  9. My Goodness! That is some fierce wind! Praying the storms will soon pass by and that you would not have any more damage of loss in your gardens. Thank you, Lord, for your protection over Jill and Greg and those around them. ❤

  10. We pray about weather conditions constantly. I have no doubt that it has made a difference. The weather patterns have been very bad. The 6 or 7 o’clock news this morning said it would be clear and hot today. An hour later it started raining and lightning
It’s almost 2 now and still dark and cloudy

  11. I grew up in Mobile, Alabama. That storm looked like some “minor” hurricanes that I have seen!

  12. You really look great in your thumbnail shot. Kudos for looking so pretty when under such stress! Praying the weather will calm down a bit as we finish off the month of May here in north Texas. Blessings.

  13. Mornin sista Jill
Wind tore through my garden too, taring up the collards
It felt the lightning was trying to hit going into work at DFW Airport at 12:30am
Was so bad they had the Ramp shut down by the time I got in there.
Power was out in our area, except my block here in Bedford. Our K9 handler had to seek out three gas station to get gas, because of large area power outage.
Hard for me to sleep, thunder was so laud it felt it was moving the foundation

  14. I went out and started rebuking as soon as I saw the winds starting up. I probably looked like a crazy person standing on the back porch yelling "peace, be still". But the Lord heard so let them call me crazy if they want. We had no damages last night or the night before, but people on the next street over had trees go down night before. And Sarah had no damage either. Praise the Lord!!! He is faithful. So glad you are okay. I was worried about you, but I know you are covered , too. God bless.
