This was a birthday present for my husband. It was my first time making a cake! Tastes good, next time I’d chill the cakes a little before leveling (hear it helps us total beginners). The frosting was great when I made it a couple days ahead, but the consistency was not great day of (maybe I left it sitting on the counter too long). Also the cakes were a little over baked. I approached this with a mindset of it’s a fun project and it was fun for me. I found myself googling a lot of things like how to move a cake from a turntable to a cake plate and how to cut a cake!
