We were lucky enough to get a table last minute on a busy Friday. They do ask you to put in the order all together, I assume it has to do with how fussy some of the preparations are. Service is great, not too in-your-face and just attentive enough. The overall atmosphere is great, easygoing, not so loud. It’s probably my favorite place in Art District, second only to Bestia.

The French onion soup is probably the most deeply flavorful thing I’ve had in a while. Everything is great, and the smell of the sauces are the best part of the whole dinner.

Looks great. I really dislike places that make me order all at once though. Almost a deal breaker honestly.

Was this for two people and what did all this cost may I ask?

I love this restaurant albeit pricey. You’re right the service is the right amount of attentive and there is never any pressure even though they keep the tables rotating. They remembered me after my second visit and now treat me like a regular with extra touches. The chef’s counter is fun if you don’t mind sitting side by side and watching the action.

We went on Saturday and ordered almost exactly what you ordered (minus the breast and plus the oysters)! It was a great environment and the service was attentive without being pushy and we enjoyed everything. I especially enjoyed my mocktails and got two of the same one because it was just so dang good. Only thing I didn’t love is that my spouse is pescatarian (not by choice) and several of the seafood dishes have chicken stock in them so the menu was even more limited than it could have been for him.

I love Camphor. Price is very reasonable for a Michelin Restaurant and flavors were excellent. We ordered extra bread to dip with the onion sauce so as not to waste it. I also loved the bread pudding.
