When I googled street food in Budapest, Langos was the first result. Langos it is!

Looks like fried dough with… What’s in the middle?

You gotta put some garlic oil and cheese on top besides the sour cream!

There’s a market every year in the town I live, and there’s always a ton of different food stalls there. I always buy lángos! This year it’s cancelled (for obvious reasons) and I’m going to miss it so much, it’s so tasty

You should definitely try “Erdélyi kürtöskalács” too. It’s a yeasted dough that gets rolled in thin ribbons and then a single around 1 cm broad ribbon get’s spun around a wooden roll. The roll then gets baked on a wooden or gasgrill until its golden brown. You can choose between nuts, cinnamon, coconut flakes and many other things to roll it in.

It is one of my favorite things to eat. Period.

    Edit: pronunciation

Needs a nice shaved cheese and fresh thin slices of raw garlic! Or Maybe some diced and fried speck, and spring onion. Either way, Langos is kickass!

I had it with cheese and bacon. It sounds better than it is honestly
