Happy mother's day Niki
We planted seeds this year and they are doing great. We only planted radishes, yellow squash and tomatoes this year. I usually plant dill from seed which did way better than the plant I bought. Basil is easy and good too. Blueberries are a bush and will not die each year. You probably should plant them somewhere else.

I was looking at some vegetable plants yesterday but I have bunnies, squirrels and raccoons pretty bad. Not sure how well I’d do.
So much fun!! I've been adding Epson salt, the magnesium is great, to our little garden and the tomato plants are huge with lots of tomatoes coming. Also I've harvested green lettuce 3 times already. It's about done here in SC as heat is coming on. I didn't get it started due to long winter with lots of frost. Looking forward to your successful garden!
This was very enjoyable, as someone who is an experienced gardener. Thanks for sharing!! A couple of tips: Blueberries need very acidic soil, so it's good you put them in their own container, as you will have to amend it. I am trying blueberries again this year and actually bought specific soil for them, but I was told it takes awhile and I may not get blueberries this year. So don't get discouraged. Also, I can't tell from the video, but if there is more than 1 squash plant in that container, you will need to give each one their own space because the plants get HUGE! Squash and zucchini really need their own space and should be planted at least 3-4 feet apart. Since you just planted them, it's fine to relocate them. Good luck with everything. I'm excited to see how it goes for you guys, and how awesome that you and Adam are into it together. My hubby and I garden together too, and really enjoy it. Once you really get into it, look into growing from seed. You'll be amazed at all the varieties, and it's really not hard at all. You will have to start tomatoes and peppers inside during winter if you start from seed, but as I said, it's not hard.
I planted spaghetti squares, delicata squash, cabbage, one tomato plant and one cucumber.
