Have you eaten Jollibee’s? Yech.

They replaced a perfectly good Arby’s (in my neighborhood) with this amazing fried chicken place. Eat their chicken then come back and make them busy.

Yes there’s an ongoing demolition inside and is going to be replaced by Popeyes

That’s the newest looking Jollibee’s I’ve ever seen. Anyways, my assessment from being a fast food place: I think their chicken is better than KFC, and they also offer different side dishes that go beyond typical mashed potatoes, corn, and mac & cheese, etc. I also think their desserts are pretty good too, especially when there’s a Red Ribbon connected to it. Is it the best Filipino food? No, of course not, but fast food is never the best of something.

Can get better fried chicken and sudes, easily elsewhere. No reason to return.

It’s next to an in n out. Perhaps that’s why it always looks empty

I tried Jollibee’s for the first time a month ago and wasn’t a fan. I would say it was the same quality as Popeyes/KFC, but a couple dollars more expensive. They had a couple Filipino focused items, but they weren’t anything you would specifically go there for. The main items (fried chicken, sandwiches, Mac n cheese, etc…) are no better or worse than the other big players.

Its it cuz it’s right next to an In N Out and Jersey Mikes?

The spicy chicken sandwich is the fucking best I’ve had. My friend and I did a taste test and we both agreed Jolibee was the best. Her bf also said the same when he ate our leftovers. The contenders were Popeyes, Chick Fil A, and KFC. Jolibee was the best one by farrrrrr, and also the most underrated winner according to my Instagram poll lol.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

It’s because there are a lot of upper middle class white people in Torrance who don’t know the brand and are not yet familiar with the quality of their fried chicken. To a newcomer customer who’s educated the Jollibee logo can also seem a little juvenile. They did a lot of market research before opening that location and maybe it’s just a late bloomer.
I am not sold on all of their sides or the sweet spaghetti, But whenever I have friends over and serve Jollibee fried chicken people love it and they won’t love it more than KFC and grocery store deli fried chicken. Some even like it more than Popeyes.

I like it. I should go to this location

Too expensive in the US… So many other options with better quality and service.

We all go to Carson that’s why. And then we hit up Tropical for pan de sal and Seafood City for fruit and stuff.

Not enough Filipinos in Torrance, lol. The Peach Mango pies are damn good!

The pineapple drink is the best.

Is that the Hawthorne & Del Amo location? I tried it once — found it to be exceedingly mediocre. Definitely not a good decision to build next to an In-N-Out.

Occasionally I get a craving for some spicy chicken, steam rice n gravy, I will go get my jollibee fix. However I normally get food to go or use the drive thru. You won’t find me dinning inside.

Is that the one on Hawthorne.. they were sporting an 18/hour liveable wage a year ago

Just saw an in and out stating 19-22.50/hour wage. Jesus fucking christ why did I go to college. Surf and burgers are up, Bohdi
