There is a small gas station out in the middle of nowhere Pflugerville, with a little old mexican lady running a restaurant in the back who makes better. But Papalote is a close #2.
Con Madre is kinda meh.

There was a time where this burrito was around like 9 bucks. Thatβs when I remember recommending it to peopl, nowadays not so much.

They used to sell them for $8-10 dollars, and actually had flavor. Now they are a shadow of themself π

During the pandemic I used to order these all the time. They were 8 dollars and the quality was solid, lot of food, salsas were good. Then it went to shit and more than doubled in price and the burritos were filled with grease from lower quality meats. Just disappointing.

They used to be 7$!

Impressive in size! but low in quality. next time try a Juan in Million Don Juan, just order some extra tortillas with it.

There used to be a burrito spot on oltorf that made burritos this big for like $2.99

Not to be confused with the similarly named [Ta-Con Madre](https://www.facebook.com/ta.con.madre.austin/) that recently opened at the Shell station on the corner of MLK and Chicon. That new one uses quality ingredients served on handmade tortillas, pupusas, arepas, etc.

How was it?
$20 for a burrito? Lol
Jardin Corona is half the price and twice as good lol itβs hard to find value in the new Austin
Still dubious, no reference for OPβs arm. Need dog or banana for scale.
It looks like you’re getting fitted for a prosthetic burrito
$20!?!? I hope that came with a happy ending.
We need a reference. Are you 7 ft tall or does the sunset occurs 10 minutes early for you?
