Went there on a wednesday night. 8pm seating. just two pairs at the sushi bar. We ordered the omakase nigiri package.
Overall very enjoyable experience. Small intimate place with good pacing. Our chef was a touch heavy handed with the soy sometimes, but nothing too egregious. Sushi rice was perfect. excellent fish size and ratio to rice. Some of the pieces were stupid ridiculous good. Trout, Ebi, Toro, sea perch. There were some unique pieces that I don’t see at many places. And while not subtle and delicate, the torched pieces all had excellent flavor. Overall, enjoyed it more than Zo and Q.

this was my first omakase experience awhile back and tbh it was pretty awful. i really looked forward to it too and i really wanted to like it to point where i kinda lied to myself about it lol.
the fish was lukewarm and overall just wasn’t really memorable. maybe i’m just an uneducated, tasteless casual but it was kinda bad. the staff was cool though. i bought the chefs and my waiter a round of shots of sake.
the worst part was the very bad upset stomachs everyone had after. me, my wife and other couple we were with had pretty bad diarrhea for the next couple days. we didn’t say anything to each other about it til a few days later until we discovered they experienced the same thing too.
