I had my doubts during the first few hours. And then the smell started… ye gods it’s just as good as the beef version. I threw in the potatoes and some onion at about the halfway point. Next time I might skip the au jus gravy mix and just roll with some fresh garlic, onion powder, chicken stock, MSG and cornstarch.

So I pretty much followed the standard Mississippi Pot Roast recipe, except I used chicken.
