Undressed greens and no char on tomatoes leaves me feeling “ehhhh”

And I’m so sorry but the poachies are reminding me of a scrotum I’M SORRY

    Im sure it tasted lovely

Not sure I’d be happy paying £15 for it

A lot of negative comments, which I understand – it’s not a proper caff fryup.

However, for a high quality FEB it was top class. Truly a full breakfast.

Bacon was streaky, not back, so points deducted (though very tasty).

Sourdough and not fried white slice, so not traditional (but tastier in my opinion).

    The sausages were excellent.

Eggs poached which obvs isn’t traditional caff fare but very good.

Most importantly, the black pudding was high calibre. I love black pudding and usually find when it is served – and it’s often absent at caffs that claim they’re serving you a full English – it’s bland and rubbery. This was black pudding greatness. Second best example I’ve had after a cafe in Brighton called Jacques that has since closed.

  4. Looks very good but I’m also concerned about that green stuff on the plate.

Doesn’t have the spirit of a fry up but it looks tasty for what it is!

  6. I’m not sure what that is but it makes me sad.
