Hi everyone! I have a little question about B12 supplements, especially the dosage.
Few elements of context: I’ve been diagnosed with severe anemia few months ago, went to see a doctor who gave me heavily dosed iron supplements. But the thing is, I didn’t really feel comfortable with this doctor, because she kinda made fun of me when I asked her for bloodwork to analyze other things (B6, B9, B13, vitamin D, etc.), so I went to see another one.
The second one gave me the supplements in the picture 1, and I realized after buying it, that it also included B12, but only 50% of the daily needs, as you can see on the picture.
The thing is, in the meantime I bought another B12 supplement (picture 2), and the dosage seems to be huuuge (40000%? isn’t that a lot ?).
My question is: can I take both or should I only take the one in the picture 1? Since I feel like I still need iron.
I plan on doing bloodwork next week, so I still don’t know how much iron I’ll need. But mostly, if I take both of these supplements, will I ingest too much B12?
I hope my question makes sense! Thanks a lot for your help.
