Hey all
I want to make the [spatchcocked roast chicken](https://www.seriouseats.com/butterflied-roasted-chicken-with-quick-jus-recipe) with the [best crispy roast potatoes](https://www.seriouseats.com/the-best-roast-potatoes-ever-recipe), but I only have one oven. The potatoes take a longer time than the chicken at a lower temperature so not sure how to navigate this.
Do I boil and toss the potatoes while the chicken roasts, then rest the chicken and do the potatoes? That’s a long time for the chicken to rest as the potatoes roast for 50-60 minutes, so I’m worried the chicken won’t be hot.
Or can I partially roast the potatoes, take them out, do the chicken, then finish the potatoes while the chicken rests?
