Such a bummer. Loved this place when I worked downtown. Wife and I are planning one last pilgrimage next week.

I’m going tomorrow morning as a send-off π A shame I live downtown and haven’t been in so long.

They were on npr awhile ago when egg prices were really high. And also about the homeless a couple times.
So they had good pr in getting the word out. just the message for the last 10 years has been, working in Los Angeles is tough and we have been on the verge of bankruptcy ever since we opened.
Guess this time is for real.

Nooooo. π whenever I stay at the bfβs place in downtown, we go. And take a few pop tarts for the next day. Such good food, always a good vibe. What a hole to leave.

Plenty of times I wanted to go but they close too early.

Tough part of DTLA to make it as a restaurant. The sidewalks are paved with human feces. Intimidating for anyone not familiar with the area.

They were so good when they were an early entrant into the area. And somehow they stayed good while changed this whole time. Sorry to see them go.
