Does anyone else remember this place? I’ve tried so hard to find a place that has similar fried fish and rice and it’s been a bust 🙁 . Their fried rice was so light and the fish was whiting I think? It was so thin and flaky and delicious… ugh I miss it

Oh wow, this is crazy. This was my parents place until 2002 or 2003. I ate the food growing up all the time and I never got tired of it. Like you OP, I find myself comparing other fried seafood to my parents and it’s never as good to me. My parents were very proud of their product and was always looking to serve fresh delicious food at a good value.
I remember this place, I would drive my mother to Chinatown so she can do her errands and I would drive around to find a parking spot. This was in the early 2010s. I would end up as far west as Church Street and see this place everything. I think I only ate there once.
