I wanted to love Macaroni Republic but dam that lasagna was small AF
Reminded me of a cheesy loaded Balaclava 🤨. 1in tall with 3 paper thin noodles. Fucking hell it was disappointing. I know I’m a fatty but fucking hell 1inch lasagna is kinda ridiculous for what they charged

Best thing there is the Bigoli. Pesto dish isn’t bad either but I was also disappointed with the lasagna portions too.

Sorry to hear that! I’m a big fan of the osso buco agnolotti and the bianchi e neri. If you ever find yourself back there, maybe give one of those a shot!

IME, most places the Lasagna is kinda meh. Especially when compared to home made. I tend to avoid ordering it out (and I’ve gotten it at really good places too). Instead, I make mine at home (Anthony Bourdain has a great recipe) and then freeze small portions.

Never had their lasagna. My gotos are angelini, cola pasta, pasta sisters, andddd Uovo. That’s a lot. I’m also a fatty

I haven’t been in a while, but when I worked a lot closer, that place was a favorite. The food there is really high quality at a reasonable price. Their bolognese is delicious.

I don’t usually order lasagna out, so I haven’t tried theirs. But I gotta say that I really love Maccheroni Republic. It’s just simple, affordable, tasty Italian.

I’m sorry to hear about your disappointing experience with Macaroni Republic’s lasagna. It can be frustrating when a dish doesn’t meet your expectations, especially when you were looking forward to enjoying it. It’s important for restaurants to maintain consistency and quality in their portion sizes to ensure customer satisfaction.
If you feel that the lasagna you received was significantly smaller than what you expected, it may be worth providing feedback to Macaroni Republic directly. Sharing your concerns and disappointment with them can help them understand the issue and potentially make improvements in the future.
When providing feedback, it’s best to be constructive and specific about the aspects that didn’t meet your expectations. This will give the restaurant a better understanding of the problem and an opportunity to address it.
In the future, you may also want to consider checking reviews or reaching out to the restaurant beforehand to get an idea of portion sizes and ensure they align with your expectations. This can help you make more informed decisions when selecting dishes.
I hope your future dining experiences are more enjoyable, and that you find a lasagna that meets your expectations.

When lasagna is GOOD good it’s transcendental. But restaurant portions almost always disappoint. Maybe one of the few foods that is consistently better at home

It was small but I thought it was really good. I just miss their tripe pasta. That was so good
