I just wanted to share my last couple orders from Comadre. Preorders at 10 am Tuesdays via the link in her instagram Bio. As you can see i’m addicted!

I always get her empanadas and croissants because they are divine. Anything with Masa Madre is usually really good. https://comadrepanaderia.com/ here’s her website. Pick up at her new brick and mortar which is right behind Nixta.

How was the corn croissant? I love the idea of elote in pastry form.

I know a lot of work goes into this but after ordering I just couldn’t justify the prices. I was so excited because of the hype.
Maybe I’m just spoiled since I grew up on the border and pan dulce was sold by the pound and I grew up with my grandmothers both making stuff.
Great for them finding a market for it though. It’s a lot of work and effort

I missed this week’s by an hour 😅

Nice, looks great! Haven’t had a box in awhile but may be time to get another one soon. I love Comadre but sometimes I just crave more traditional pan dulce and I found a spot in Kyle that hits the spot on occasion. I recently tried the concha at Suerte too and find myself daydreaming about it.

I misread your post as “Comrade Life” initially and was like what communist organization do I have to join to get in on this pastry game
