
Very simple banana pudding recipe. π All ingredients were from Aldi.
Ingredients: Slightly ripened bananas, instant vanilla pudding, 2% milk, vanilla extract, whipped topping (cool whip), and vanilla wafers.
Directions: Whisk together 2 cups of 2% milk with one box of instant vanilla pudding mix for 2 minutes or until pudding begins to thicken. Add one teaspoon of vanilla; combine. Spread an even layer of vanilla wafers in an 8×8 baking dish. Cover vanilla wafers with 1/2 of pudding mixture. Slice 2-3 bananas. Add an even layer of sliced bananas on top of pudding. Add an additional layer of vanilla wafers, top with other 1/2 of pudding, and add another layer of bananas. Top this with 3/4 container of whipped topping. Place remaining bananas on top of whipped topping, along with crumbled vanilla wafers. Chill in fridge for 2-3 hours before enjoying (or enjoy immediately as I did because itβs just as good and the vanilla wafers are still nice and crisp).
