    Rare to medium rare depending on how warm it was. Blue? Hell no. To get blue you’d need a far thicker cut, or to sear it while it was near frozen in the middle at that thickness.

    Def med rare.

    Rate is a cool red center. Med rare is a warm red center. medium is a hot pink center. Med well is a slightly pink center, well done is no pink left.

    You can look at temps too, but you’ll find more inconsistency there between opinions.

    Get a thermometer. It’s the only way to really know for sure.
