Spinach is one of the most nutritiously dense leafy greens out there. It’s also a cinch to grow! Ben shows you how and encourages all of us to get more greens down us!
I’m being lazy this year, & just chucked the seeds in the ground ( in rows) they are doing great! 😁👍 I don’t even like spinach……growing it for my husbands birds! 😂
I have an infinite love for spinach, but I have given up on growing them. Every single time they just end up bolting no matter how much I change things, be it watering, temperatures, shade or pot size. After reading about it being quite common I understand why my gran who had been a farmer for decades only grew them once or twice.
I'm growing New Zealand spinach in my garden. It is heat tolerant, drought resistant, and it grows like mad. Forget about plucking off a few leaves, you will need to aggressively prune it back. I've already taken two large harvests from it, and it will keep on growing and producing until frost. Be prepared to take several harvests, or it will take over your garden bed.
A great dose of spinch each day is a pleasure as a green drink mixed with pure water. And as well as a positive, upbeat and energetic outlook as we are shown here, THAT is a winning combination! Thank you!

How do you all combat slugs etc
I cannot for the life of me grow spinach. I call it my veg nemesis. 😂 It either bolts or fails young. I now grow chard in its place.

Yum with feta cheese in pastry😘😋
What they dont tell you is that some of the fiber is not digestable and could cause some serious gastric issues so be carefull
Mine bolted a couple weeks ago, but it was tasty while it lasted.
Damn, when did you start those seeds? I am so far behind.
