After hearing Gus suggests this spot on ANMA, I added it to my Austin visit list. Now after this I MUST go when I’m back up there in July. Looks AWESOME!!

This is a wild contrast to the pitiful Reuben I got there. I asked for corned beef and pastrami , got charged like 20$ for a sandwich , came out with one piece of each , folded over itself. Thinnest Reuben I’ve seen in my life and at a Jewish deli no less ! Weirdly their other stuff sounds to be much better and worth it but I have a hard time getting past this

Why do people seem to rave about this place so much? I gave them 3 tries and each one was mediocre at best.

bearly any meats on that thang wut the dang ol heck I used to like Bidermans til they started pulling this crap you want a real sandwhich you got go make your own these days every one going all skrimping on the main ingredants and whatnot then want charge you $20 for what the dam hell in what I dont know anymore that bread too crunchy anwyays
