In search of a place like this in LA. Distance isn’t an issue as long as it’s in LA or even OC. The bun is a rice cake? The filling is kalbi.

Not exactly the same thing, but you’d probably like Maru Pit Stop in Eagle Rock

Oh! Those are just called ‘rice burgers’ lol (라이스버거 or 밥버거 (bap-burger)) . Could’ve sworn they were a brief fad in the US a few years ago, but they’re still pretty much a mainstay in Korea now.
In any case, ChiMac Star on w 8th and Chicken Day on western should carry some, including bulgogi. The few places thay did sell them years ago all closed. If you’re okay with other fillings, Iroha Sushi in studio city sells some japanese ones. Haven’t tried any of these places so I can’t vouch for them, unfortunately.
