I loved the [one](https://i.ibb.co/3rgJvBM/20230603-111319.jpg) I had at [Best Pizza](https://www.bestpizzawilliamsburg.com) in Williamsburg.

Which other places would you recommend?

I’m going next weekend but I heard Stretch has a killer MBP sliders- It’s thew pizza place by the former chef of WD50…

Faicco’s in the W. Village and DeFonte’s in Red Hook get my vote.

Williamsburg Pizza used to make a BANGER of a meatball hero but they have the guy from Two Boots running the show now so it’s probably taken a serious dip in quality along with everything else.

Be very careful ordering these to go. Some places probably not listed here carelessly construct & wrap their subs so that all the cheese comes off stuck to the foil when the sandwich is unwrapped.

Lena’s Italian Kitchen – takeout only. Some of the best chicken parm with vodka sauce in the city!

Regina’s in LES or soho! Delicious meatballs and only make so many daily so when they’re out they don’t replenish until the next day!

I have studied this rubric for decades. Fedderoff’s in Williamsburg but only on Sunday and Parisi’s on Mott street in the city. Fedderoffs is a slow cooked sunday sauce with pork and homemade meatballs. It’s my current reining champion

I imagine most old school Italian delis make bomb ones. If they’ve been open 30+ years, just go and get one.

Mama’s Too does a sandwich every Wednesday (usually just pizza), and so every month or two there’s a meatball parm. It’s probably my favorite of all the ones I’ve had in the city.

Just a small detail Regina’s is fing good but they cut the rolls completely in half so that shit is going to spill out. I hate when delis do that. Just cut half the roll. Say what you want about Philly at least when I get a hoagie in South Philly they don’t do that bullshit
