FYI Parallel Brothers (Geary) fans – they’ve opened a new location in Kensington Market on Augusta Ave! Full meals, seating, and grocery/to-go items just like the main location! 🧆
Thought I’d share for anyone else who goes out of their way for their stuff, this location is a bit more transit accessible!

That is great news. The pita is the best. Only thing I know of in the downtown-area that makes pita to go that good. Closest thing to Falafel yoni in Montreal.
However – parallel don’t make a falafel in pita. I’m sure there are reasons but – why?

One of the best kept secrets in Toronto! Best falafel and tahini in the city.

The previous head chef at Parallel just opened his on place on St. Clair W near Pukka. It’s called Romi’s. Mostly bakery and deli fair but his delicious falafel is there as well! Worth a visit for sure.

Oooh that’s far more convenient than Geary! Nice. 😀 I see more falafel in my future!

Interesting fact, the brothers that started Parallel are the children of the founders of Ozeri bakery – [https://ozerybakery.com/ca-en/](https://ozerybakery.com/ca-en/)
Same ones that you see the pita in super markets/etc.

Aren’t they Israeli owned?

For the Geary location: Most herbaceous and tender falafels I’ve ever had. The topped hummus (especially with the preserved lemon and zhoug) is fabulous. Awesomely puffy and soft pitas.
