My husband hates chilli, the smell of garlic, only eats anything burger or pizza shaped. Together 22 years our happy medium is that we only cook for ourselves.

But yay! He doesn’t use Reddit, so I get to stink out the house for the next 10 days whilst he does golf or whatever.

I’m not a chef! I have Latvian roots and as long as i could stand up I was making bread dough.

Anyway, I batch cook fkn hot chilli tomato marinara like 5 or 6 times a year. I re use the jam jars.

I’d like some pasta dishes please

  2. My Lasagne takes 5 days to make

I make the pasta, the sauce, the Italian Sausage, and the ricotta. I use sausage, mince beef, pepperoni. I also use 4 cheeses. I dont make it very often

We’re not supposed to be negative here but without correct canning technique you risk severely harming someone.

Assuming you managed to chill this sauce down and got it into the fridge in less than 2 hours after it was finished it’ll last a few days in the fridge. (3 days: day of cooking + 2).

If you got it chilled and then frozen it’ll last a lot longer. Be cautious about defrosting.

If you left it on the side to cool down you have to either eat it within 4 hours, or chill it within 2 hours.

Pasta sauce. Make him a pizza and show him how nice spicy food is.

I’d just use in place of tinned tomato in any dish that needs

Peaches as the base of chilli sauce is amazing. I do a peach, red onion, yellow pepper and scotch bonnet chilli sauce with an outstanding kick but so much sweetness and great flavour.

I’m doing a fakeaway kebab tonight – wish I had some of that to go on it!

  7. Maybe a seafood gumbo with sausages and crab?

I reckon this would be bloody lovely with some penne and chorizo added!

I love mango habanero hot sauce! I only ever buy it but I’m sure you could find a good recipe online. The sweetness with the spice works really well.
