Last month I had a delivery that was delayed, and was told by customer service that the box was lost and another would be sent. The replacement box also ended up being delayed and arrived 3 days late, but I was able to get it refunded and just trashed the box. Today, over a month later, the original box arrived. I was confused on why I was even getting a box because I actually cancelled last week due to issues with deliveries and missing ingredients. As soon as we brought the box inside we could smell it. I guess this is more on Fedex than Hello Fresh, but I just can’t believe that no one noticed along the way how awful this box smelled.

I’ve used hello fresh off and on over the last couple years, and have had numerous issues with deliveries and missing items. Customer service has always been good and have resolved issues, but I think I’m done for good this time. It’s just not worth the hassle of planning a week’s meals around the service if they/their shipping partners aren’t going to be reliable.

  1. OMG! Thats insane. I’ve never had a box show up that late, I’ve had problems with deliveries because I live in an apartment building and no one knows how to use a freaking intercom. Its so irritating. I’m glad you got your money back, but thats so disgusting. Please, complain to your shipper, too.
