Lantern flies are about to be a problem.
Is the conduit support for the insect nets removable? I noticed that on your beautiful kale and cabbage, lettuce beds, there was no net, and no support for it.
Thanks
My wife and I love watching your videos. We have learned quite a bit from you. I'd love to know where you get that particular insect netting? Keep up the good work!
Wowww your garden is impressive! Great video !!!
Hey James! Do you use the surround spray on your blueberries too? Thanks!
You are a bright ray of sunshine in this dark world! I've been following your for some time now and your food forest is my dream come true. You are an amazing teacher. Thanks for being an amazing person also.
I had no idea peas didn't need to be polinated. What about beans?
most excellent my dude!
You have sooo many plants in your garden. How much work per week does it take to keep it as nice as it is, and how many years did it take you to get this far, with all the raised beds, trees, etc.? I am impressed! I wish I had your energy/stamina. I'm 69, have crippling arthritis, survived a widowmaker heart attack, and heart surgery. So my brain has a lot more energy than my body. But I love my garden, and am planting as much as I can. Last year planted 23 peonies and 2 eastern Redbud trees (with lots of help). I see videos like yours, and I just want more and more garden. 😉
I'm no expert but this year I'm having a huge issue with spider mites and aphids. Won't they crawl right through it?
Thank you for this info! Just subscribed to your channel. Question – will this help with squash bugs? They are my nemesis!
The insect netting also helps keep poison from CHEM TRAILS off your produce!…an extra bonus! Thanks for the great tips! kristi
He starts getting to the point at 4:20… nice.
Dude, you are on fire!! Fabulous idea no chemicals 😊
James, any tips for getting rid of Rose Chafers once they are on your plants?
Your the best , I mean Tuck,. Haha take care bro. Thanks
I use the neme oil and peppermint Castile soap …I also use ultraviolet flashlight at night time to see the hornworms and remove them. I started using hay as mulch so I can easily spot hornworms poop under plants . I catch them a lot sooner now so less damage. Nets are great too !
Just beautiful!
Your amazing energy coupled with the great information you give is SO appreciated! Thanks for sharing your beautiful food forest AND the fantastic tips! And little Tuck's such a great sidekick!!
Just Beautiful
I turned around to see my dog munching down on some big, fat zucchini plant leaves!
I have something that is eating the carrots from under the soil and my Beats lots of pit holes. I thought it might be grubs what should I do?
Now if i can just keep the neighbors cat from taking my squash !
Much appreciation James and Tuck ✨👌🏽
Did you used the copper wire? The electr magnetic agro technique?
TY, you are soon Smart. Love you!
Amen, brother! Thank. You
Tuck is a cool little dog!
Thank you for your videos, James. I had so many notes from this video that they wouldn't fit on the paper. I grabbed a new notebook, which I will name after you. 😉 You have such a genuine energy which motivates me to keep gardening. Thank you so much and hugs to both you and Tuck!
I absolutely love me some TUCK!! 🐶💋💋💋💋💋❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
16:35 😂❤❤ My babies can’t figure out how to eat leafy veggies. Lol
What can I do about ants?
You and Tuck are the reason that my big old dog loves going to the garden and get treats! I learned to give him some during my first harvest a few years ago after watching you guys and now he gets excited to go with me to the garden!
I think you and your channel are truly remarkable. Such a quality production and I love your manner. I go to the thrift store and buy sheer curtains to use instead of screening. I can get a huge bunch of panels for $3.00. I use bamboo to keep the sheers off the plants. I only have a small raised bed but money for supplies is a factor, so that works for me. I cannot believe how beautiful your farm is. I am a NJ girl now in FL. Where in NJ are you located? I grew up in Bergen County then lived in the Oranges, New Brunswick, Flanders. Then 15 years in Hawaii and now Florida. Gardened everywhere but Florida bugs are the hardest, just insane. Very unpleasant and sandy soil difficult. I grow a lot in pots. Thanx for your wonderful work and demeanor.
What keeps squirrels away from vegetables, they taken out 3 small tomato plants, 2 eggplant plants, and 2 cucumbers…grrr
..and my yorkies are lounge bugs, not interested in the varmints
For birds ect.22 birdshot ,, pepper em hard and it dosent kill em they stop coming around
What about ants? In California I have Argentine ants so bad that I've given up. They are completely relentless, and they farm aphids. The nets won't stop ants. They can get through anything.
