Not to be confused with a bun bowl that is served at almost all Vietnamese spots where the let you pick the meat toppings. I’m looking for Bun Cha Hanoi that typically comes deconstructed so you make your own bowls with these insanely good pork meatballs.

I love this dish, had it for the first time on a street corner in Hanoi 20 years ago and never forgot it. There’s a place called Ng Cafe off IH-35 north of W Parmer that has it on the menu, have not had a chance to get over there to check it out yet but it’s definitely on my to-do list.
