Everyone knows that farmers use a lot of pesticide. Those chemicals flow into the rivers, and then the oceans.
There might be a way to reduce the amount of pesticide required to protect a crop. All insects hate wintergreen oil. But it’s too expensive to be used as a spray.
However, it might be possible to deliver a very small amount of wintergreen oil as a mist. You would take a five gallon bucket, and add a cup of wintergreen oil. Then put an aquarium bubbler in the bucket and place it in the garden. That’s it. Its just normal evaporation.
Maybe a light cloud of wintergreen gas would provide a crop cover.
If you make the concentration of wintergreen oil even lower, then you could put a five gallon bucket of water with a bubbler in the house. And if you really want to get fancy, add a few ounces of liquid Allicin. That’s an anti-cancer compound found in garlic. That will protect your family.
Everyone needs to be extremely careful when buying produce at the supermarket. Israel is using growth-hormone on vegetables. That growth hormone causes cancer.

It's funny how the english language doesn't have separate words for "sweet cherry" and "sour cherry". Here in the Balkans we call sweet cherry "Trešnja" and sour cherry "Višnja".
That is just the basic distinction between the two, we have more words for them depending on the type of sweet or sour cherry.

Can't believe how much you are harvesting so early in the season! What zone are you in? The cold, rainy winter here in SFBAy along with gophers set me back this year. The raised beds are now lined with hardware cloth, so now we're good to get going.

Do you have a video about the cherry trees? I have seen that you need more than one in order to cross pollinate. I just planted two different pear trees because of that cross pollination. Also, where did you get the row covers on the strawberry?
Your garden looks too perfect. I can only dream to look that perfect. What do you do to get suck amazing results? Everything eats my leaves and the sun finishes off what the bugs/ birds don't get (zone 9a).
