Which of these Soju do you recommend to try? I’ve only tried the Original before
I’m planning to go for K-Bbq and have a full experience by having Soju on the side. I’m looking at the drink menu for Soju and they some options to choose from, any recommendations?

The grape soju is the bomb. I haven’t had grape makgeoli.

Personally I’m not a big fan of the flavored. They taste a lot like over sugared sodas. But Makkoli is a super unique traditional Korean rice wine. Definitely give it a try. It’s quite different from soju though.

I like the Fresh. Nice clean flavor, and a sip of it sort of rinses your mouth so the next bite you eat is better.

Jinro and cass or hite beer
1-2 fingers of soju , top up with beer 🍺

I like makgeolli but usually avoid it because all the bottled ones I’ve come across in the US are sweetened with aspartame. A friend brewed me some for my birthday and it was delicious.
For your first time I’d go with just plain soju, you can drink it straight or add to beer. Sometimes I make mixed drinks with soju. Recently it was soju, yuja cha, and plain seltzer. I also like making watermelon punch (blended watermelon and lemon lime soda) and adding soju.
