The 19.95 platter at Lazy Bear Lodge is a filling meal. Choice of main and side with a cornbread biscuit. A single sausage on a bun elsewhere was pushing 17 bucks.

Should of eaten before going in wonderland or leave food in the car and go out and eat since you can go in and out

Honestly, for $20 that isn’t that bad! Likely what you’d pay at a real BBQ joint in the GTA. Thanks for the heads up.

Anyone else see a crocodile head or am I really stoned?

You gotta eat right before you go to Wonderland

Oh yeah and don’t forget that it doesn’t come with any drinks. The Tim Hortons has decent prices but there is usually an insane lineup there.

food might be overpriced at wonderland but at least most of the time its a decent portion size

I worked at Wonderland one summer behind the scenes, and honestly at the time the food overall was so generic and bland. The majority of the restaurants just use the same frozen stuff that’s reheated up. It’s kept in a giant fridge in a warehouse. There’s actually a secret restaurant for the staff that serves it at a discount, but we never really went because it was so meh.

That being said, there are two decent food options at Wonderland. There’s the actrual sit down restaurant (might actually be what OP is referring to, I can’t remember the name), across from the castle. It’s a buffet and pricey but the food is much better than the generic outdoor food.

Then throughout the summer in that same area, they’ll have different food vendors each weekend with a different style of food. This is the closest to actual carnival/fair food.

Also the little Pizza Pizza buildings throughout the park smell soooo bad.

This looks good and a great step in the right direction for quality and value.

There’s so many parks in the states that have really great food. I used to just not eat at Wonderland because I don’t want to pay through the nose for awful food.
