The sandwiches look good, but Mike’s Deli is gonna be hard to beat….esp when it comes to pricing. They also use boar’s head

These sandwiches are so good! I’m not a big sandwich person but this place changed my mind.

Why are these places so proud to be using boars head meats? How do you make great sandwiches with shit ingredients?

May I ask when “Sando” became a thing? I’ve never heard this until recently.

IMO it’s such a tacky name and branding for such a delicious shop. It makes it seem like one of those fad tiktok/instagram places, OR like a delivery-only ghost kitchen type situation. l almost didn’t go to the one on Melrose because of that.

I stay clear from any sandwhich shop that calls sandwiches “sandos” because I know I will be paying an arm and a leg for one
