    When did you sow those seeds.
    Cos as baby carrots, it's still a win in my book.
    It'll help me decide when to thin my carrots because I don't want to do so before the "baby carrot" stage…waste not want not.

    Hi Ivan, I grow these wee boys every season. They don't take as long as traditional carrots to mature, but they don't like to be crammed. They maybe didn't have enough room to grow side ways so have gone down instead. All in all they are still a baby carrot & I am sure will be very tastie.

    You had to try or you wouldn't know. But hey, like you said, you can still eat them. Let down by the seed you couldn't know until you pulled them!

    Hi everyone, as you may know this is my first ever growing season and I hope I can call on your advice please? In this heat how often should I be watering my veggies? I have veggies at every stage of the growing process from seeds that have just been sown to potatoes almost ready to harvest, should I be watering daily or when the compost is dry on the top I'm so worried that nothing will there to harvest if I over or under water – with being a first timer this is all very new to me and is a major learning curve. I am container gardening only, I dont have raised beds or anything in the ground. Thank you all any advice is appreciated x

    Ordered Paris market carrot seed want to see if i can get round carrots. Ordered picking onion seed as im impressed. Just had my 1st bright lights radish harvest and they were lovely. Also Salad leaves all grown in my washing up bowls. Potatoes are starting to flower. Thank you for this channel.

    Thank you for your positiveness Ivan, it's encouraging watching your videos.
    We pulled some of our carrots out yesterday and they were very much like yours. When we topped n tailed some were yellow/orange but some had a green inner circle. Wny did this happen and are these not safe to eat (like green potatoes)

    Those carrots may not look like you want them to, but I bet they are very tasty. Good grief they are crowded.

    l tried that round carrot last year in spare deep container, they took forever to grow and were very small so didnt do this year,.But last yr at same time we tried sweet candle carrots in the black morrison buckets. .They were lovely, very sweet tasting, big harvest from the container and long straight roots as it says, same size as taper long candles.. Not one forked even though very densely grown.
