I’m guessing a 2+ hour wait in line.

  2. ItsJustMeJenn

I had a chance to try these when I was in DC for a spell. The chocolate chip and the oatmeal raisin. They are good, pretty good even. You’ll need to cut them into a few pieces because they’re really sweet but I wasn’t overly impressed and I don’t think they were worth the long wait or the high price.

Had these in NYC just randomly but everyone on our trip LOVED them.

I wasn’t crazy about them but I’m not much of a sweets guy.

As far as cookies go, I love Brady’s. Best cookies I’ve ever had.

  4. anomerica

I lived in NYC for 4 years. They’re good, not great. Better cookies exist. Just another overhyped spot

I prefer Proof to Levain, but Levain is still great.

I’d go Proof first, then Levain or Bristol Farms (due to convenience/multiple locations).

  6. One of the few things in my NYC’er days I felt was worth the hype and the wait (because you want a warm one, don’t compromise).

  7. Garconavecunreve

They’re pretty good but definitely won’t be worth the wait you’ll have to go through in the first few weeks post opening.

I used to live near the DC one. Very mid. Diddy Reese makes a way better cookie. This almost felt like a meme cookie.

  10. Tried these when I lived in Chicago and they weren’t for me. We didn’t understand the hype, none of us in a group of 4 felt like finishing what we had tried. Too much chocolate in the chocolate chip, overwhelms the whole flavor profile.

I’ve been waiting for this for a year!!!

Used to live across the street from one in NYC. I don’t like the cookies but their breads are sooo good. Love the butter and jam baguette for breakfast.

For those who have had both – how do Paderia’s cookies compare to Levain? I love Paderia but have never had the opportunity to try Levain (but have heard the style is similar).

agree with most of the feedback here. they are really solid cookies, hit that sugar craving every time.

but its not worth more than a 5-10 min wait. but dont equate that for them not being good. they are very good, there are just very few things in life that are worth waiting in long ass lines for.

Another ny food transplant that will be hot for a year and closed in three years

  16. I was very excited when this was announced in APRIL OF 2022 and I lived walking distance from Larchmont Blvd. I’m now in Los Feliz and will stop in eventually once the lines die down

  17. ceehouse

can’t wait to go* once the lines die down. levain and crumbl are my favorite cookies.

  18. scantron3000

Dear lord, finally! My husband and I have been obsessed with their cookies for years.

  19. 100percentdoghair

i will 100% try these. but factoring in the time it sounds like it will take to spend in line (and, it appears, you’re not even guaranteed a warm cookie), it is hard to see how this will beat out the bristol farms cookie — which already is about as good as a “thick” chocolate chip cookie can be

  20. spacexdustt

I’m so hyped!!! I’ve been incredibly underwhelmed by LAs cookie scene, hopefully this inspires more cookie joints to open up

  21. “The Cookie” at Bristol Farms is so much better than Levain

  22. usagiSuteishi

Brady’s backer is going to have some competition

  23. CryingSighing

Man just make it stop please. Larchmont is such a cute and tree-lined street, I want it to be full of independent shops, but it’s just three giant coffee chains, a chain bakery, a chain cookie shop, a chain restaurant.

Gimme some unique shit. Also. Maybe. A bar? What’s the deal with there being zero bars in the entire area around larchmont and hancock?

  24. ThaneOfCawdorrr

REALLY looking forward to this!!! Have been watching them get the site ready for months now!

  25. Formal_Discipline_12

Nice. I’ll check it out after work. Probably gonna be a huge line. I hope not.

  26. LAFoodieBen

Lol to the person who is reporting criticism of this place as “harassment”

  27. Paddleson

wooow! thanks for sharing. I just tried them for the first time in NYC a couple weeks ago. Those cookies are delicious!

  28. fleekyfreaky

Oh shit. This Covid weight is never gonna come off.

  29. brainchili

Oh hell yes. Their chocolate peanut butter chip is absolute 🔥

  30. theunworthyone

Hot take, but I’ve been two New York City twice and this is the only food I would return for. Now I don’t have to fly there! And yes, I know they have frozen Levain you can bake at home, but it definitely isn’t the same.

  31. Senior_Astronaut_7

In the line right now since 1.5hrs. guessing another 30mins to be able to get them!

  32. BruceLeeIsTheHomie

Bristol Farms and Paderia makes them kinda similar to Levain

  33. Went at 8:30 pm and line was 15 mins. It was moving fast. Free parking in their parking lot!

  34. laika_cat

These cookies are actually good. I cannot hate.
