Haus Spritz. More like spicy margarita vibes. Yummy but not $16 yummy.

Mushroom fries. Really good. Great crunch and really nice meaty mushrooms.

Shrimp pasta. Amazing sauce. Shrimp cooked very well, not rubbery at all.

Steak frites. Good steak, medium rare. Fries were obviously frozen.

Sourdough bread pudding. HUGE portion. Freshly baked. But the top was burnt. I like a nice crust but it was too much imo. We barely made a dent in it. Should have gone to Salt and Straw next door.

$116 before tip. Good service, beautiful restaurant. Nice to sit outside.

If it’s anything like their Venice location, their salmon pizza is ridiculously good and a must try.

Was interested in eating here for brunch recently but the wait was like two hours, so we noped it and ate at Clark’s

It’s way too sceney for me to try. The people waiting to get in block the damn sidewalk when all I want is my Go Get Em Tiger burrito

I’ve had brunch here on a weekend, and we got there early enough to not wait long. Was impressed. But I wouldn’t wait an hour.

Was confused when I read sourdough bread pudding since I thought it was some sort of chocolate lava cake and then I read “but the top was burnt”

The Haus Spritz is bomb, but you are right it shouldn’t cost $16. Haus has been temporarily discontinued however while they search for funding, so eventually they’ll have to replace it with a new aperitif.

For those of you who want to eat brunch there, I recommend going on a Sunday when they have the farmer’s market, put your name in, grab an iced Americano at GGET and walk around for an hour.

  8. Love this place! The Melrose location is good, too. My fave items are probably the Rigatoni Bolognese and the Poke Bowl, and their pita bread is amazing.

They have a loyalty program/app that saves you money on repeat visits, which is nice. I’ve found it easy to get dinner reservations in the past, and I think we only went there for breakfast once, but I don’t remember waiting long.

I love the breakfast burrito there but I’ve never ventured past that on the menu. One of the few places of its “scene” that typically delivers thoufh

  10. No one here will believe me, but their salmon coconut curry is possibly the best I’ve ever had anywhere.
