Brio is an iconic Italian soda. Its origins are surprising – Chinotto is the bittersweet Italian soda synonymous with Toronto’s Italian joints, but few people know it’s bottled just north of the city. [Toronto Star]

Chinotto is so delicous 😋😍 and I tried Brio recently as well (at a Pizza Nova, after finally asking what it was after years of seeing and not asking about it, even though I had Chinotto much earlier) and it is also very good 😇😊 (if I knew about Biro earlier I might had started to drink it more 😂)

Now I think of this as a Toronto classic – I always assumed it was Italian

when I went to Italy, I was shocked to not see brio being sold anywhere. That’s when I realized it wasn’t Italian
