Hey [r/FoodNYC](https://www.reddit.com/r/foodNYC) \- I recently shared this on the NYC subreddit but I also feel this is very relevant to this sub.
I moved to New York in 2022. Ever since, places like Reddit have been an enormous help for me to discover great food & things to do around the city.
My personal feeling is that some of the best recommendations come from friends or a trusted community, not from apps and websites that constantly bombard us with sponsored content or the same old tourist spots.
I’m super excited to introduce you Voy – a project I’ve been working on for New Yorkers (new and old!), who truly know the heartbeat of the city, to share their faves & help everyone find hidden gems and unique experiences.
Voy is still in its early stages, and I want to make it the go-to resource for New Yorkers and visitors alike. I’m trying to start small with a Notion page but would really appreciate if y’all could give it a shot, share your faves & let me know your constructive feedback
To get started you can check out the Notion page: [https://www.notion.so/voynyc/invite/fb22226eaf95235a364a9ec166e13d126889d9f8](https://www.notion.so/voynyc/invite/fb22226eaf95235a364a9ec166e13d126889d9f8)
Feel free to write to me directly or join the slack with your feedback: [https://join.slack.com/t/voy-corp/shared\_invite/zt-1yj8rqqj6-1472wNFzB3\_eRx\~io1vjCQ](https://join.slack.com/t/voy-corp/shared_invite/zt-1yj8rqqj6-1472wNFzB3_eRx~io1vjCQ)
I’ll be honest, I am looking to learn and develop this concept. So happy to hear any constructive feedback, suggestion or anything else y’all have to say!
Thank you
Rohan
