Chicken Fried Steak at Dahlia Cafe in Liberty Hill
One of my favorite drives to make , 15 dollars for chicken fried steak with jalapeño gravy and 2 choices of sides. We got mac and cheese and hash browns. On sundays they do brunch!

Great venue to boot when it’s not 125F outside. Giant oaks and a great playground for the minions. Beautiful back patio. Worth the trip.
Edit… they’re open Sunday now? Wow.

Austin has always had a decent variety of restaurants since I’ve been here since the 70s but I find myself eating out of town more often. It’s more reasonably priced and spreads like this for the price just don’t exist anymore. Just looking at this makes me hungry. Thanks for posting, I’m going to check this place out!
