Not my recipe but wonderful. I tweaked it slightly at step 5 bu putting the tomato paste in with the guiness and reduced in the pan before adding to the slow cooking pot. I also didn’t add potato or turnips, and just added extra carrot.

Respect this. Respect your alterations. Most of all I respect your dedication to Winter food during Summer. Nothing beats Winter food. Pretty sure that’s a law in the more Northern reaches. If it isn’t protected by ECHR at the very least then I’m not sure the legal system is working.

I’ve seen guiness stews and it always looks so good. But how much of that actual guiness beer flavor ends up in the final product? I really don’t like the taste of beer itself so I’m unsure if I want to actually try making it sometime
