I think Heavens Bistro Bakery has the best croissant in Austin,TX.
finally had a chance to grab croissants from Heavens Bistro. They sold out fast in the past but now they always have them! so flakey and buttery.

I live right around the corner from this place and love it! Their croissants really are awesome and they have a nice patio in the back of the building

The dough to air ratio is blowing my mind.

Hands down. The second best used to be at Kneaded Pleasures, but is likely now at Upper Crust. The owner is _legit_ a French-trained pastry chef, and she’s amazing.

Pic #3 is not a croissant. You know that, right?

Seriously, though, it’s a good bakery and I’m glad we have it here in north Austin (which is, I might add, not Pflugerville).

Yep. This spot is very good.
Hate knocking other places, but some of the other croissants sold in Austin are laughable. Buttery dough cakes shaped like croissants.

Love them and their cowboy cookies!!

I really like these. I think they would be truly world-class if they found a custom butter supplier that could bring a richer flavor, since the butter is where most of the flavor comes from. I think if they did that they would need to make 10 times as many every day because this place would turn into a hot spot like RR Doughnuts, and I’m here for it.
edit: And a hint more salt. The flavor is pretty bland.

What time do I need to arrive to get some fresh croissants?

The two most authentic French croissants in Austin are:
#1) [Julie Myrtille](https://www.juliemyrtille.us/) (native Parisian-run patisserie)
#2) Saveurs la boulangerie (off 360)
