  1. Celebrated a milestone bday last night so it was only fitting we did so at my favourite restaurant in the GTA and it lived up to the occasion as usual

The mushrooms are absolutely incredible, perfectly lightly battered without feeling to greasy or heavy and dressed with some sort of crack tasting tangy mayo sauce, we could’ve easily ate twice this as many of them.

I don’t typically rush to order pork dishes but it was the one new thing on the menu that stood out as different from anything else I’ve ever had there so I gave it a try and glad I did. Incredibly tender and tasty with a medley of bok choy and greens sauteed in some delicious sauces, lots of rich tasting flavors you’d expect with any main here. My wife had the leek and chickpea burger which is a staple for her when she’s not feeling the veggie or seafood options, I finally tried a bite and it’s surprisingly good.

Overall great bday dinner, would get old and go back again. 👴🏾

One of my favourite DT restaurants. Just booked another chef’s menu reservation for their latest menu. If anyone hasn’t been, I highly recommend it! Chef’s menu or a la carte are both great.
