I used to do a lot of fine dining but over the last 10 years my priorities changed and I’ve been going out to fine dining restaurants less.

Maybe that’s why I was so charmed by Girl and the Goat. The food was stellar, the service was top notch and the atmosphere was very comfortable.

Or maybe it is just great.

  1. Is that.. blueberries with fish? And it comes with 10 chips total for both plates. How LA of them

Been there three times. It’s fine

It’s fantastic. Both service and food. Have also eaten at the original in Chicago a few times and that is next level if you’re ever in town. Definitely the kind of place you want to go with a group so you can try more stuff!

Food was excellent but was very disappointed with the service. They said they’d portion the meal out into courses. Instead stuff came out willy nilly with big meats before small sides and some took forever. Manager was not helpful. Did not enjoy the experience. Wasn’t even busy.

It’s a problem many small plate restaurants have. But I always ask when they say to order at once, will you course it appropriately? I can course the food myself if you can’t or won’t, but don’t make stuff up.

So good. Try her other spot Cabra next! Equally as excellent

At this point GatG and subsidiaries are basically the Chilis of fine dining.

Across the street from the Starkman & Son building, aka the front for Paddy’s Pub from Always Sunny.

Has anyone else had a sub par experience? I thought the drinks were great here but the food was not great.

I was warned by someone that the servings here were small but thought they were exaggerating. I was wrong. Ordered a few dishes to share with the person I went with and we left hungry. One of those dishes was a lamb skewer I believe and it was so salty.

I don’t understand the hype of this place.

I was absolutely shocked how good everything we tried (most of the menu haha) Such a pleasant surprise. Would go again.

This place felt like the McDonalds of fine dining. Really mediocre food and terrible service (although it’s a step above Bacari, which is like the seven eleven hot dog section of fine dining)

I felt embarrassed taking someone here and spending a decent amount of money

Really loved their brunch menu. I’ll be dreaming about those crispy potatoes for a minute

Not sure if they changed their menu, but I looooved the branzino!!! Everything else is pretty alright, but definitely innovative and fun.
