We’ve been in Greece for a few weeks and haven’t been able to stop eating this amazing soft feta cheese that spreads basically like cream cheese.
Do any of you have any clue where we can keep the magic going back home? Took a video as words really don’t serve me here — this stuff is incredible! Not crumbly.
It’s definitely sheep’s milk (not cow nor goat). I’m open to it being form Bulgaria or anywhere (doesn’t have to be Greek). Thank you!

Elat market. They have different types of feta for sale in baggies like the one you posted. Their Bulgarian feta is my favorite
Get thee to SuperKing.
Any Middle Eastern market will have it. I go to Tehran Market in Santa Monica, but literally any Persian/Israeli/Pakistani/Turkish/Etc. market will have that. They sell a lot of feta’s, each a little different
Btw pro tip – when you take the cheese home, put it in tupperware and fill halfway with water, keeps the cheese soft.
What you want is a creamy feta. The most common brand like is Valbreso, it’s carried in most major markets, I get mine from Smart and Final.
My personal favorite is Meredith Farms… you can find it at most cheese shops. I get it at Surfas and smear it on their amazing bake at home baguettes.
