A little more info for those interested! As a result of the strikes in Hollywood I’ve been spending a LOT of free time at my local coffee spot, Madlab (Los Angeles). I’d been working on this design for another project and decided to use the core mechanics to attempt a latte art pouring version.
During one my afternoons there the owner, Andrew, told a story about the difference between a Barista and a Mechanista and I thought that title was too perfect for this little device!
It was printed all as one part using a Formlabs Fuse1+ SLS printer using Nylon 11 powder.
