The dressing for Korean mac salad tends to be pretty simply mayo, salt, sugar, sometimes vinegar or lemon juice. Maybe more sugar?

This is also a version of Hawaiian Mac-salad without the carrots.

Macaroni noodles, kewpie Mayo (or Hellman’s/Duke’s + sugar/& mirin), with grated onion and a splash of milk.

Hawaiian mac salad isn’t Korean but it’s K-food adjacent and it’s **friggen delicious**. Please find the recipe and report back.

Hawaii Mac salad has no sugar. I used to make it at a local food joint in Hawai’i. The secret is MSG. Super ono!! Also reg mayo NOT that salad dressing stuff.
