I pull up to lindustrie all the time and see the line and walk right down to best pizza I ain’t waiting 30+ mins for a slice and best pizza plain cheese slice rivals anyones imo

Went there last Sunday and had a burata slice. It was good but didn’t blow me away like I was expecting after all I had heard and read. I’m gonna give it another shot and also try the fig and jam

Good but definitely not the best in the city. Or neighborhood tbh.

I never cared for this pizza. It’s “fine” imo but my favorite is Joe’s grandma slice and I ask them to leave it in the oven for extra crispy.
Erghhh have you heard of Di Fara in Midwood? That’s the undisputed king of NYC pizza lol. L’Industrie is the equivalent of Artichoke Basille.

I keep saying this but there is no best place. Food is so mood dependent and fickle. Furthermore even consistent establishments can have bad days or even bad stretches. People keep trying to crown a place with superlative titles but it’s a waste of time. Places ebb and flow all the time and our personal tastes change all the time. So it’s more about knowing in the moment what you prefer in a slice / pie and asking a more specific question.
Like which places use coal fire ovens vs gas vs electric? Who proofs their dough for at least 72 hours? Which places use sourdough or do something unique with their starter .. where can I sit down? Who makes a different sauce for their Sicilian / grandma ? Where can I get Calabrian chili oil to put on my slice.
