If you live close to Pharmacy and Sheppard, or even drive by, I will share a little bit of the food that I make for myself for free. I will post here on the days I cook and what I cook so you can come pick it up if you like what you see (South Asian/Sri Lankan). I have added some of the stuff.

I’m not in the area, but kothu roti is so tasty! I’ve tried making it at home but it’s never the same. Yours looks great!

I’m sad Lin Gardens closed down.

I would love to know when you make something really really spicy. And (I’m white) talking not white man spicy 🙂 but the real deal!!!

Also I would never take for free. I will help your costs to help others if I ever get to try your cooking. Much love for your effort.

  4. I’m lucky enough to not be in need of food, but I just wanted to say this is incredibly kind of you to offer. So much food insecurity in this city right now, and it keeps growing. What you’re doing will help out more than you know! Thank you for helping those in need.

Kothu roti is so incredible. I went to Little India on Queen and had it for about 15 years before they slightly changed their recipe and it just wasn’t the same anymore. Yours looks perfect.

Side note, but all the people posting about having trouble making friends in Toronto should take a lesson from your post.

Made mutton curry with rice today. I have 2 pieces of mutton plus some rice for whoever who comes first. I will put them in the fridge at the end of the day.

I have a question about the beef/goat picture…how did you get the gravy so thick?!

Every time I make beef curry it is way too liquidy no matter how long I reduce it for.

Also what cut of beef would you recommend?

I’m Sri Lankan too btw 🙂 I’ve been trying—& failing—to learn how to cook meat curry
