as part of my less than 10 series I went to Atx Shoyu Sugar. They do smaller portions of food with 1 scoop of mac salad and 1 scoop of rice for 8 dollars. That’s a whole katsu!

This place rules. My go to is the lunch combo with teriyaki beef and Korean fried chicken and they don’t skimp on the portions. The owners are really pleasant to talk to as well. Last time I went, one of them asked if I liked spicy and when I said yes, he gave me some of their homemade spicy mayo which was fantastic with the fried chicken. He said they usually have a spicy soy sauce as well that they were out of but that just gives me another excuse to go back.
